are you guys excited for christmas? my dad said some people dont celebrate christmas but i dont really get it why, what do they do instead

I'm excited for Christmas myself! I haven't done any shopping yet for my spouse though. Some people just don't celebrate due to their religion, they may celebrate Hanukah or Kwanzaa.
